We visit the church, have lunch,wholesale replica wallets, and then continue by bus to Elia beach – reputed to be the best gay beach on Mykonos these days. The bus is loaded down with gorgeous men. One cutie from France has a Yorkshire Terrier in his handbag, and he’s standing in the aisle right next to my seat. I get a French kiss from the French Yorkie! The beach turns out to be stunning in every respect. We head to the right from where the bus drops us off, which is the direction of the nude portion of the beach. There are lots of lounges covered with palm-frond umbrellas on the sandy portion, and then the rocks and crags begin and the sandy portions of the beach are fewer and smaller. We settle in for some swimming and sunning, and then catch the 4:25pm bus back to Mykonos. Several of us get off high above the town so that we can walk down and take photographs of the gathering storm as we make our way back to the hotel.
Tonight we are on our own for dinner. We go back into town in small groups. My own group of four opts to come back to the hotel after dinner in order to pack and be ready to leave tomorrow morning on our transfer to Naxos. Let’s hope the rains continue to hold off
